January 2026 CASTLE BUILD CONTEST

The contest begins January 1st at approximately 5pm EST and ends Friday, January 16, 2026 5:00 PM EST.

Judges will do tours beginning at 5:00 pm on January 16th and continue until completed. Judges may tour individually or in a group, depending on schedules. We expect to convene at 8:00 PM to review results and announce winners. 

There is a kit available for participants. This kit is a one-time use only and contains materials for building and one test gen. This will not be replaced. You will still be able to trade in wind turbines for one at the shop. 

• Team builds are allowed, but only the team leader receives prizes and handle distribution. A clan must be created for team builds. Players who leave a team/clan may not rejoin or continue the build.
• Builds must be created on the server. 
• Do not block waterways (boats must remain passable). Any blocking structures will be removed. 
• This is not a size contest — large builds are fine, and to be expected, but empty sprawling castles are not. Every room should have a purpose, story, or theme. 
• Keep a reasonable distance between builds as to not create lag zones; admins will monitor placement. 
• Admins will not spawn items — all materials must be obtained by participants.
